About Evolve

About Evolve Sensing

Evolve Sensing supplies spectrometers and optical sensing systems for research, OEM and industrial customers, from prototyping through volume manufacturing.

Products and services

Evolve Sensing supplies high-performance spectrometers and optical sensing systems for research, OEM and industrial applications, with product lines covering 180 to 2500 nm. Alongside the catalog, Evolve builds complete sensing systems for measurements that no standard instrument covers: stand-off optical sensing, LIBS on raw materials, and process analytics in environments where ordinary equipment does not survive.

The custom work shaped the product line. Experience installing instruments on coal conveyors and beside smelters made thermal and mechanical stability the first specification in every Evolve design.

Our vision

North American manufacturing is exploding. Evolve Sensing aims to work with manufacturers to optimize new processes with bespoke sensors that are designed specifically to your needs.

Team

Team members typically bring ten or more years of engineering or industry experience, and they stay with a project from prototyping through scaled manufacturing, so the engineer who scoped the measurement remains available when the customer is ramping volume.

Working with Evolve

Projects begin with the measurement rather than a part number. The first thirty minutes are usually spent establishing whether the physics supports the requirement, and Evolve says so plainly when it does not. Where a measurement is better served by another supplier's product, Evolve will say that as well.

Location

Evolve Sensing is headquartered in Redmond, Washington, with distribution across Europe through partners in the Netherlands and France. Manufacturing is ISO 9001 certified and products are CE marked.

Discuss your application with an engineer

Send the wavelength range, the sample type and the accuracy required, and an Evolve Sensing applications engineer will recommend a configuration, typically within one business day.
