Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Evolve Sensing collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit evolve-sensing.com, contact us, request information, purchase or inquire about our products and services, or otherwise interact with us.
At a glance
- We collect information you choose to provide, such as your name, business contact details, and inquiry or order information.
- We also receive routine technical data from browsers and website technologies, such as IP address, device and usage information, and cookie identifiers.
- We use personal information to respond to you, operate and improve our website and business, support customers, fulfill orders, and protect our systems.
- We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We disclose information to service providers and other parties only as described in this policy.
- You may ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information and may have additional rights depending on where you live.
1. Scope and who we are
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information controlled by Tiger Growth Partners, doing business as Evolve Sensing (collectively, "Evolve Sensing," "Evolve," "we," "us," or "our"). It covers our website, business communications, sales and customer-support activities, events and promotions, and other interactions that link to or reference this policy.
This policy does not apply to information processed solely on behalf of a customer under a separate contract, or to third-party websites and services that have their own privacy notices.
2. Personal information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you interact with us.
Information you provide
- Contact and professional information, such as your name, work email address, phone number, organization, job title, mailing address, and communication preferences.
- Inquiry and correspondence information, including the content of messages you send through our contact form or by email, requests for quotations, product requirements, and records of our communications.
- Transaction and customer-support information, such as products or services requested or purchased, shipping and billing details, purchase-order information, account contacts, support requests, and warranty or service records. Payment information may be handled by banks or payment providers rather than stored by us.
- Promotion, event, or survey information, if we offer a contest, sweepstakes, event, survey, or similar activity. This may include contact details, eligibility information, entries, responses, and information required to administer the activity or deliver a prize.
- Other information you choose to provide. Please do not submit sensitive personal information, confidential customer data, or regulated health information through our general contact form unless we specifically request it and provide an appropriate secure method. We do not seek to collect sensitive personal information, and we do not use or disclose any such information to infer characteristics about you.
Information collected automatically
When you use our website, our servers and website providers may automatically collect IP address, browser and device type, operating system, language, referring and exit pages, pages viewed, dates and times of visits, approximate location derived from IP address, and cookie or similar identifiers. We use this information to operate, secure, measure, and improve the website.
Information from other sources
We may receive business contact information from your organization, our distributors and business partners, service providers, event organizers, referrals, and publicly available professional sources. We may combine it with information we already maintain.
3. How we use personal information
We use personal information for the following business and commercial purposes:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve our website, products, and services.
- Respond to inquiries, provide quotations and technical information, process and fulfill orders, arrange shipping, and provide customer, warranty, and technical support.
- Communicate about our products, services, events, publications, and other business updates, subject to applicable law and your choices.
- Administer surveys, contests, sweepstakes, events, or promotions, including verifying eligibility and delivering prizes.
- Analyze website performance and usage, troubleshoot issues, and develop or improve products and customer experiences.
- Protect our website, networks, business, customers, and others; prevent fraud or misuse; enforce agreements; and comply with law.
- Carry out internal administration, recordkeeping, auditing, accounting, and corporate transactions.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies to make the site function, remember settings, understand usage, and maintain security.
Our website uses Google Tag Manager to deploy and manage website tags. The tags managed through that service may collect technical and usage information or place cookies, depending on which tags are active. Google's handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. We may also use hosting, security, form-processing, and analytics providers that process routine website data for us.
Third-party collection. Some of the providers whose technologies operate on our website, such as Google, may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use our site. We do not authorize any third party to collect personal information on our website for that party's own targeted advertising.
Your controls and browser signals. You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where available, our cookie controls. Blocking some cookies may affect site functionality. Because there is not yet a common industry standard for "Do Not Track" browser signals, our website does not currently respond to them. Where applicable law requires, we treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or similar opt-out preference signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; because we do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, such a signal does not change how our website operates.
5. How we disclose personal information
We may disclose the categories of personal information described above to the following recipients for the purposes in this policy:
- Service providers and contractors that support website hosting, security, analytics, form processing, email, customer support, shipping, payment processing, accounting, marketing, events, and other business operations. They are permitted to process information only for agreed services or as allowed by law.
- Distributors and business partners when needed to respond to a request, provide local sales or support, fulfill an order, administer a joint activity, or when you ask us to make an introduction.
- Professional advisers, authorities, and other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process; protect rights, safety, and property; investigate fraud or misuse; or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
- Transaction parties in connection with an actual or proposed merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar corporate transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
- Other recipients at your direction or with your consent.
We do not sell personal information, and we have not sold personal information in the 12 months preceding the date of this policy. We also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising, do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes, and do not use personal information for profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. If our practices change, we will update this policy and provide any legally required notices and choices.
6. Data retention and security
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to maintain business and transaction records, provide support, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary according to the nature of the information, the relationship, legal requirements, and legitimate business needs. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete, de-identify, or securely dispose of it.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use appropriate care when sending sensitive or confidential information. If a security breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and any relevant authorities in the manner and within the time required by applicable breach-notification laws.
7. Your choices and privacy rights
Communications. You may opt out of promotional email by using the unsubscribe link in the message or contacting us. We may still send non-promotional communications about an inquiry, order, transaction, or ongoing business relationship.
Privacy requests. Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of personal information; obtain information about our processing and disclosures; withdraw consent; restrict or object to certain processing; limit the use of sensitive personal information; opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling; and appeal a decision on a request.
To make a request, email sales@evolve-sensing.com with the subject line Privacy Request, or write to the address in Section 10. Describe your request and the interaction or records involved. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization and identity verification.
We will respond within the time required by applicable law. If we deny a request, we will explain the reason when required. Where applicable law gives you a right to appeal, you may do so by replying to our response with the subject line Privacy Appeal; we will respond to appeals within the time required by law and, if we deny an appeal, will tell you how to contact your state attorney general or other regulator where required. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
Additional information for California residents
This paragraph supplements the rest of this policy for California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the "CCPA"), to the extent the CCPA applies to us, and serves as our notice at collection. In the 12 months preceding the date of this policy we collected the personal information described in Section 2, which falls within the following CCPA categories: identifiers; customer-records information (contact and transaction details); commercial information; internet or other electronic network activity information; approximate geolocation derived from IP address; and professional or employment-related information. We collected that information from the sources and for the business and commercial purposes described in Sections 2 and 3, disclosed it to the categories of recipients described in Section 5, and retain it under the criteria described in Section 6. We do not sell or share personal information, have no actual knowledge that we sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age, do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted by the CCPA, and do not offer financial incentives in exchange for personal information. California residents may exercise the rights to know, delete, correct, and limit described above using the methods in this section.
8. International visitors
Evolve Sensing is based in the United States. If you are located outside the United States, your personal information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism and safeguards.
For visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Evolve Sensing generally acts as the controller of the information covered by this policy. Depending on the context, we process information because it is necessary to perform or take steps toward a contract; because we have legitimate interests in operating, securing, and developing our business and communicating with business contacts; because you consented; or because we must comply with law.
You may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to processing; receive a portable copy; withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing; and complain to your local data-protection authority. To exercise a right, use the contact details below.
9. Children, third-party links, and changes
Children. Our website and business offerings are directed to organizations and adults, not children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the website. If you believe a child provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Third-party links. Our website may link to distributors, publications, maps, social platforms, or other third-party sites and services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, and we encourage you to review them.
Changes to this policy. We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal obligations. We will post the revised policy at evolve-sensing.com/privacy/ and change the "last updated" date. We will provide additional notice when required by law.
